When I get home in the afternoon, the loud knock on my door causes me to jump out of my skin. Since Kerry is still talking on the phone in the car, I unlock the door for myself and then proceed into the house to wash my face. I was startled when I heard someone knock on the door, and when I opened it, I was expecting to see Kerry, but it was Rory instead. I had hoped that it was Kerry since then. I wouldn't have to deal with as much drama, but as the car pulls up in front of Rory's house, I'm quite confident that it's not her.“Rory, I overhear you whispering, "I suppose it's your girlfriend." Jennifer exits the vehicle and walks up to the front door of his house to enter. I can hear Rory mumbling as he pokes his head around the corner.I come to a standstill in the hot tub before beginning my ascent. I invite him inside and tell him, "Come in here. She will assume you're someplace about the property."I make a hasty entrance into the cottage, and Rory follows close behind. While I am skipping in front of him and playfully catching his hands, he squeezes my bottom. As I walk toward Rory's place, I mutter, "Please don't be stood in jeans without a top on," and then I smile.When he finally opens his door, I am relieved to see that he is wearing all his clothes, and I sigh with gratitude. It is more secure this way. I had no intention of having sexual relations with him tonight because it is possible that he has already had sexual relations with Jennifer, and I am not a fan of double-dipping."Can I get you a drink?" As I sit at his kitchen table, he poses the question. His home is toasty and pleasant, and it exudes an air of invitation thanks to the lit lamps and the low volume of the television in the background.I usually respond with, "A coffee will do."
