"That I am, son." Freddy answered proudly.
"Does it mean you're my grandfather?" He asked wide-eyed.
Freddy didn't even blink an eye. "Of course, son. I'm your grandfather, and you....are my grandson."
Jaimie grinned then, and let go of Moira's hand. "Grandfather!" He rushed forward and wrapped his little hands around the old man's neck.
I was surprised when Freddy's eyes watered as he hugged Jaimie back. I breathed a sigh of relief, feeling so happy that they accepted my son, it brought tears to my eyes.
