When I finally became aware of my surrounding, I saw the way they all looked at us.
Jaimie was crying on Tann's shoulder, Tamm looked like he was trying to hold back his tears. His father was staring at us pitifully and his mother was swiping tears from her eyes.
"I'm so sorry for this...." I whispered from the ground, my voice hoarse from crying.
They all shook their heads at the same time. Obviously speechless.
"So, it's you, Mina." Tann's mother finally whispered, sniffling. "You're the person Doreen wronged. She was always crying and mourning and sorrowful. We've been pleading for her to forgive herself....she didn't."
