Chapter Fifty-Four

"Nothing will happen; Brian will be in the crowd protecting her."

"Shit! How do I explain that to her?"

"Brian already did, and she understood everything. She did not even throw a tantrum, so you are welcome."

I smiled and said, "OK, then, I do not need to panic. Thank you."

I started eating my ramen, and Reagan sat beside me on the bed and started typing something on his phone. I looked at the screen, and I saw that he was talking to Amelia.

"Why are you talking to Amelia?"

"Am I telling her to start coming already? You need her to get you ready?"

"For the mating ceremony?"

He nodded, still engrossed in his phone. I snatched it from him.

"Alix, why are you snatching my phone?" He said and tried taking his phone back.

I stood up from the bed and took a good look at the chat.

He was telling her what kind of accessories he wanted him to bring while coming. He mentioned diamonds, and she was asking her if she should bring a black diamond or the pink diamond that they had gotten for me. T
