Chapter Forty-six

PAYNE'S POV

"Ahhhhhh"

"Gag his mouth already," Payne screamed at his men. He had grown impatient with the fools screaming; he had captured one of the close men of the new Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack. He had sworn that he would make Alpha Simeon's reign miserable, although the grandmaster had promised to hand his pack back to him, but Payne isn't one to stay still and do nothing.

He lay in ambush waiting for the envoy of the dark moon pack returning home from the general meeting of pack elders. He attacked the envoy without prior warning with their faces masked, knowing the grandmaster wouldn't take it if he ever found out he was behind the attacks.

Simeon and his men fought Payne, sending him to his heels. Payne barely escaped with his life and one of Simeon's men. He was going to make someone pay for the failure of his plans.

He instructed his men to string up their prisoner and stormed off to the clinic to get treated, as his body was filled with brui
