**SCARLETT'S POV**

I woke up a child today. Of all the people that I have been and all the places that I have gone, this takes the cake. I do not understand why for the life of me, I need to become a child of all things. And not just a child, but a bloody rogue. I have never known as much hunger as I have since my becoming this child. Having grown up sheltered and loved immensely by my parents, the Alpha and Luna of our pack, I have never been quite able to relate with penury and as such, the newness of this whole experience really impacts me deeply. 

I sleep with other rogues under bridges; on roadsides without proper shelter. I have to beg for food beside the road and offer to do menial jobs for a stipend.
