After having been awoken to Noelle's disappearance by an excessively bright light, the Prince and the raggedy man have been worried out of their senses. So worried and confused have they been, that they have even walked all around in the woods, searching for Noelle all to no avail, because they still have been unable to find her. And as the sun sets, they both set back to the Castle to report to everybody what has happened to Noelle - especially Noelle's mother, who could possibly be going out of her mind.
On their arrival at the Evergreen Castle, the raggedy man is greatly shocked to find out that he had hosted the Prince of Evergreen all along. Atlas leaves Scarlett's room feeling refreshed, affirmed and with a plan to hold down the pack as long as it takes, especially until Scarlett gets back.
