108. A STRANGER I WOULD DIE FOR PART II

My head snapped up, sure Vex was a bit far. I took off running, not fast, I would give him the win. My smile grew, running through until I saw his lazy ass at the border. He had reached it first, shifted back and had pulled back his clothes.

“ Its not fun when you let me win.” He said with me laughing out loud.

“ What do you want from me Vex.” I cried out, throwing my hands in the air dramatically as we walked into no man’s land. It was just a small piece between the two packs.

Just a few miles of walking we saw Sunfire. He was on border patrol. We greeted him and went further in the pack. As always, Stern greeted us with the two other pack leaders. He never missed an opportunity to have me do some work for him, it had me giggle. I went with him to the office, doing a bit of file work, but it was not a lot before he went with us to the alpha’s house which seemed dark and cold.
