CHAPTER 33 – SECOND MEET

*PHOEBE’S POV*

"Everyone, gather around!" Peter called the group of us over, and we huddled around him.

Today we were going to practice the new defense styles that we learned yesterday.

"We are going to make today's practice a competition. There will be five groups totaling six individuals." With his clipboard in hand, Peter took a position in the middle of the crowd. "Since you are a big group, we will divide the competition over two days."

The training grounds were filled with humming murmurs of expectation that cheerily approved of the fun that was anticipated.

“Now, now, settle down,” Peter continued “Fiona will be assigning the groups so that we have a perfect mixture of skills and experience.”

The excitement stopped as everyone murmured their disappointment because we all knew the members that we would have chosen for our teams.
