“I can’t believe she took the job; why didn’t she just come to me?" Leo ranted as he paced around the living room; it was a day after Arya started working at Kai’s restaurant, and he was losing his cool.

“Why would she refuse to take the job, Leo? You do know that you are just overreacting, and there is no need for this, right?” His mom was trying to calm him down, but Leo was having none of that; he was mad at everyone, at himself for relaxing, and at Kai for taking advantage of Arya’s situation to manipulate her by trying to get back at him.

She was just not a pawn in his game; she was in his pack, and he was the one that found her and brought her to their pack and begged his father to let them stay, but all Kai wanted was to piss him off; he wanted a war! And he was going to give him one for as long as he stayed away from her.
