CHAPTER 50: THE BIRTHDAY

Hanging the balloons on the walls, Colby looked at Tristan who was holding the ladder. They smiled at each other before Colby diverted his attention to the balloons he was fixing on the wall. It was his favorite brother's birthday and he was so delighted even though he hadn't figured out a gift that would suit him he knew that he would get things done before the end of the day. Lynette and Darius had gone to the bakery shop to get a cake while Aiden was stuck in his room, resting and taking in the story that their mother shared the previous night. Colby stepped down from the ladder while Tristan moved it to the basement. Elijah and Liam had moved the couches aside, creating a safe space for the dance floor and the party to take place. Colby rushed toward Aiden's room, knocking and stepping in after he got a solid response. Aiden was facing the wall with a ring in his hands, he looked at it and sighed before turning toward Colby.
