Driving through the streets, Aiden swerved to the right, he was going to pick up his wedding suit from Arcadia's Mall. Elijah had his gaze fixed on the windshield, he enjoyed every minute that he spent with his mother and he also wished that Aurelius would appear with Diana someday. They had concluded with Darius that they wouldn't talk about Aurelius again and the Graysons should go ahead and get rid of him forever. As they stationed the car at the parking lot, Aiden and Elijah alighted from the car, striding into the mall. “I think you should wear a black tux.” “Hell yes. I'm going for a black tux. I love black.”“Not as Darius.” Elijah teased as they strode to the men's section after they had taken the elevator which led them to the third floor. “Should we compel the cashier?” Elijah suggested. “Dude. Colby was the best man and Amaya was the maid of honor. They had agreed on their separate roles and the wedding was about to commence. The color of the day was black, white, and gold. All men would be dressed in suits and women would be dressed in different types of golden gowns with specific designs. Darius was the priest and he just wished that things would turn around. He wished he was the one getting married to Lynette, but he couldn't. Even if he tried to ruin the wedding, he wouldn't escape the wrath of his mother and brothers, not after he had gotten rid of Aurelius. They wouldn't let him destroy Aiden's wedding. Aiden was struggling to put his tie in place when the door swung open, he turned and met Darius who waddled in. He wore the best happy face expression. It was just for some hours and he would go back to being a dejected and abhorrent vampire. “The guests have arrived,” Darius announced as he motioned toward him, helping him to put his tie in place. “You look amazing.”

Looking outside the window, Darius imagined what Aiden and Lynette would be doing now ‘trying to make babies.’ It was heartbreaking, but he knew that Lynette would find a way. He sniggered, folding his arms and seeping from the glass of red wine which he was holding. He would never stop caring about her even though she was married to his brother. He would always protect her and save her from danger no matter the cost. Hearing footsteps behind him, he turned and met Nina who looked at him hopefully. “You should be going home. It's almost eight o'clock.” “I just wanted to check up on you.” Nina uttered as she halted. “Um, I saw your father at the wedding.” “Colby sent the invitation cards to us after you invited me personally.” Nina huffed while Darius put the glass on the wooden desk, ambling toward her. He kissed her when they were close enough, he was doing this just to get rid of every sentiment he had for Lynette. Trying to fall in love. Striving to put his urges under control.

The sun was setting, humans were walking to their various destinations. Aiden was driving home with the cake he bought from the bakery shop. He drove into the O'Connor premises, stationing the SUV at the garage before carrying the cake into the house carefully. As he stepped into the living room, he was welcomed by Colby. “Hmm. Looks tasty.” Colby said, salivating, he wanted to eat all of it. Aiden strolled into the kitchen before settling the white-colored creamy cake on the dining table. Beckham had arranged the living room and it was large enough to contain about fifty people. Elijah was downtown, compelling humans to grace the party. They had promised that they wouldn't hurt anyone. Aiden did an excellent job by providing blood bags for himself and his siblings. The only thing you creatures think of is to feed on us. The O'Connor brothers were good at observing table manners, there weren't side whispers or clanging of the ceramics against the wooden dining table as they dined together. Lynette was sitting next to Aiden, she wasn't used to the dead silence, but she was elated because they were enjoying the meal. She could read the look on their faces and she was catching several glances from Darius who was sitting opposite Aiden. She strived not to smile because she knew that he was flirting with her. There was one thing she noticed about these five brothers, they were looking pale, but still, they were vibrant and full of energy. She didn't want to conclude quickly, perhaps, it was their nature. “Thank you.” Colby said as he stood up looking at Lynette before he waddled toward the sink, he dropped the plate there and exited the dining room. “He is such a cute little brother.” Lynette smiled while fiddling with her spoon.
