THE VILLAINESS REDEMPTION

A new beginning

"Push! Come on Lily you can do this." The midwife urged Lily.

Lily tried her best but the pain was too much, it felt like her whole body was being torn up from inside.

"Lily, you can do this, I know that you can do this." her aunt pleaded with her.

Lily groaned in pain as she tried to push the baby out. She was losing strength but she had to be brave for her innocent baby.

In all her life, whenever Lily thought of when she would give birth to her first child, she had never imagined that she would be alone, hated by her mate, banished from her pack and family.

She was currently leaving with some human relatives and she would have to live as one and train her child as one too.

She grit her teeth as she pushed the baby out.

The sound of the baby cries filled the room.

"It's a boy!" the midwife announced as she lifted the baby up.

Lily sat up in bed, already she could feel her injuries healing and the pain fading away.

The midwife handed her the baby, she cuddled the baby close to her and kissed his forehead.

"What will be his name?" her aunt Rebecca asked her.

"Lavender." she answered.

"Are you sure?" her aunt asked.

"Very sure, he is a good man and my baby needs to be named after a good man, it's the least I can do aunt." Lily replied.

"Okay love, we shall call him Lavender then." her aunt replied as she looked at the little baby who laid peacefully in his mother's arms.

Her aunt paid the midwife and escorted her out. She came back after a while and started to pack their bags urgently.

"We have to leave, your uncle is already waiting with his car." she told Lily, a tone of urgency in her voice.

"Okay aunt." Lily replied, she quickly wrapped the baby in blankets. This had been their plan, as soon as the baby was born, they would all move to another city and change their names. This was to ensure none of the werewolves were able to catch them.

Her aunt assisted her and they went out of the house to the car and they zoomed off into the night.

"So what names are we going to answer?" her uncle asked.

"I was thinking our new surname could be Howard, I will be Becca Howard, you will be Daniel Howard and Lily will be Lilian Howard and our little angel will be Lavender Howard. We are a family, Lily is our adopted daughter, her husband died shortly after their marriage and Lavender is her son and our grandson." her aunt replied.

"That's a great idea, so from now on, we are the Howard's. Is that okay Lily?" her uncle asked.

"I am okay with it Uncle." she replied. She looked at them affectionately.

"I am so sorry for making you go through all this trouble." she apologized to them.

Little Lavender started crying, Lily quickly breastfed him and he fell quiet as he sucked contentedly.

Her aunt looked at the little baby affectionately.

"Lily my love, you have nothing to apologize for, I should have been there for you children after the loss of your parents, instead I let cowardice keep me away from the pack. I am so sorry Lily, let me make it up to you now" she said.

Lily nodded, her aunt smiled and squeezed her shoulder comfortingly.

Lily looked at her little baby, he had fallen asleep already, she stroked his little forehead. Thanks to her wrong choices, her baby would grow up leaving his birthright as an Alpha, away from his pack and his father and an extended family that would have loved him more than anything in the world.

She looked at her aunt and uncle and smiled in the dim darkness of the car. At least she had them, ever since Ryder had sent her here, they had done nothing but show her love despite her past.

She looked at Lavender and whispered to him. "I promise that I will never let you down my love."

And so the newly formed Howard family made their way to a new city to start a fresh life.

CREEKWOOD PACK

Jax sat down slowly on a chair and looked around. He missed his pack so much. It had been hard horrible been in that prison for so long.

To think that the reason an Alpha like him had been treated so badly was because of Lily made him so furious. He regretted ever meeting her and he couldn't care less what happened to her and he hoped to never see her again.

Jax had just been an Alpha minding his absolute business with his fiance Ava until he had met Lily who had happened to be his mate. In the euphoria of finding a mate, he had completely abandoned Ava and blindly believed everything Lily said.

That had been his mistake, it turned out that Lily, although she was his mate was a very bad person, now he had lost Ava, his dignity and respect and almost lost his pack.

"Now, Alpha Jax the only reason we released you was because Ryder vouched for you and told us you wouldn't lie about Lily whereabouts." one of the members of the werewolf council told Jax.

"I understand and I am completely grateful for his help." Jax answered obediently. He looked nothing like the confident Alpha of a pack. Instead he looked like a meek omega completely at their mercy.

"You must put your head down and work on being a good alpha of the pack, we will be visiting the pack from time to time to know how you are faring. Is that understood?" the member asked again.

"Yes, I understand." he answered.

"Good." the members stood up and left and Jax was left alone with his thoughts.

"Alpha, welcome home." his beta approached him and greeted him.

"Thanks a lot Dean" Jax replied.

"I am so happy you are home Alpha, what do you need me to do?" Dean asked.

"Call a pack meeting in the next hour, I will go freshen up." Jax told me.

"Yes Alpha." Dean replied.
