Maya's pov

As I closed the door behind Daniel, I couldn't help but be grateful for his visit. He'd even gotten me flowers and my favorite chocolate bar.

It was kind of amusing and also sad that he'd thought I'd be mad at him when all he'd done was try to look out for me.

I was beyond glad that he'd been there when Micah had decided to show his ugly face… who was I kidding?

Micah wasn't ugly and that was the problem but his presence sure was.

I let out sigh as I plopped down back on the couch.

Daniel had said to stay away from Micah and while I agred with him, there was still something in me that couldn't resist Micah. It should have been easy for me to walk away from him earlier especially after his behavior but I had stood there in confusion, hating he was there but at the same time secretly loving him.

"Was I just an idiot?"

I asked myself.
