Denial

Despite the pain in her face and mouth, Lisa devoured her dinner like a hungry lion. She needed strength to carry out her enterprise. The pity party has ended and it was payback time.

She checked through her purse and brought out an old phone she had picked up from her chest.

She brought out the SIM card that she had taken from her broken phone. She inserted it into the old phone and reboot the phone.

The phone rang almost immediately when the light came up, it was Alex.

Lisa shuddered and ignored the call. She opened her Gmail account and viewed all the mails again.

"It's all over, who cares if they went viral? The most important person I wanted to protect is wounded already... who cares whatever?" Lisa muttered as she reset her password.

She cleaned the tears burning in her eyes with a single swipe of her palm as she composed a new message to her blackmailer.

"This can't go viral please. How much do you need this time? Reply with the amount, location, date and time."
