Chapter Forty Nine

Two weeks later

Sarita checked her phone for any message from Vikrant for the billionth time that day but her screen remained blank. She wanted to reach out to him first but she was scared that her father would know because she didn't know who'd gone behind her back to send those photos of her and Vikrant to her father.

The prime suspect would have been Divya if she'd not stabbed her and sent her to the hospital. Raj was envious of Vikrant but she didn't want to believe that he'd stoop so low to do something like that. Even though she didn't like him very much, she wanted to feel that he still had some goodness left in him.

"How did the person even get my father's number anyway?" She wondered, a puzzled frown on her face. It would probably remain a mystery to her, unless someone magically found an answer for her. Maybe, Mayank would know.
