Chapter 68: I think I Love You

Daniel's POV

"Dad."

I was surprised to see my dad, Roman, his male secretary, and two bodyguards standing at the door. Dad frowned as he looked at the gun in my hand that I didn't point at him. Instead, I hid it behind me, and he grabbed my arm as soon as I opened the door.

"Are you going to shoot me, you jackass?"

"You know my job, dad," I said, and then I put the gun in the back of my shorts. "What're you doing here?"

Dad stared at me. I left the door open so he and his friends could come in. He turned toward Russell.

"Hi, d-dad. Good evening." Russell said. Dad opened his arms, and Russell came over to hug him. Even though my dad was mad at me, he treated his best friend's daughter well.

"Good evening, Russell. I didn't expect to see you here," said my dad, then he looked at me again. "I thought Russell didn't like you. The staff told me they saw you with a woman, but I didn't know it was your wife.
