If I hadn't called Carla, I wouldn't have known the plans Pedro made for her.

I also wanted us to head out together, and catch up with all the times we missed, but I arrived at her home to learn from Mrs Parker that Pedro picked her up.

That got me reaching out to Carla, who in return, shared Pedro's outing plans.

"The movies? It's been long I went to that. I'll join you guys," I had said.

Carla didn't sound that okay with the idea, but I had already made my mind.

And I am so glad that I showed up just in time to ruin Pedro's moment.

I had Carla in my hold while entering the movie room with our refreshments.

I took a glance at Pedro, who was following us from behind.

His face swelled with anger, watching Carla and I.

When we got into the room, set to take our seat right at the back, I immediately blocked Pedro from getting closer to Carla.

I could see right through his moves.

He wanted to seat next to her.
