"That annoying Jessica! I'll make her regret ever challenging me," I groaned out with detest.

I could still feel my whole body vibrating with intense anger over Jessica's nonsense.

After she challenged me, I immediately joined the queue and signed up for the audition.

My name fell among those that will have theirs in four days time.

Despite seeing that I signed up, Jessica still had the audacity to mock me, saying I'll break before that day even reaches.

"I wouldn't have joined the audition, but she needs to be put in her place once and for all! " I vented out to Pedro, who sat next to me.

He was just silent all through, nodding his head at my word.

"I need to get my strength fully for that day. What do you think?" I asked, turning my head to face Pedro.

"Hmm, " He hummed, nodding his head with his eyes on his phone.

It almost looked like he wasn't listening to me.

And to confirm that I was right, I noticed an earpod in Pedro's ears. He wasn't listening to me at all!
