“I am Gwen.” Gwen said quickly, snapping back to her senses. Hesper smirked slightly. “I know.” Gwen could feel the blush rising on her cheeks. “Your sister said you could help us.” Cheryl said, from behind her. “We are searching for a mind doctor. She needs one.” Gwen felt Hesper’s perusing gaze down her form, and she quickly looked at her hands. “Hmm.” Hesper simply said. Slowly, he placed long slender fingers against Gwen’s cheek, holding her face up. At this point, Gwen’s heart was on the verge of exploding. Hesper frowned slightly, confused. “The spell feels familiar.” “Spell?” Gwen asked, breaking out of her trance. “What do you mean?” “I feel the presence of a familiar dark magic around you. For some reason I can’t remember the owner.” “Uncle M said that black magic was used on me,” Gwen whispered, looking at Sheryl. “That means he was right.” Sheryl frowned, then faced Hesper. “Can you remove it?” “I am no mind doctor.” He said, shaking his head. “But I can take you
Tyron arrived at the portal that led to the Zruch realm. He was surprised to find that there was no one guarding the portal, and was instantly suspicious. The air surrounding the portal was eerie, and he looked around to see if anyone stood nearby. When it was obvious that there was no one around, he took on a deep breath and walked in. He fell into the realm a few minutes later, feeling heavier than before. When he stood, the weight on his shoulders increased, and he had to lean on his knees to stop himself from falling. Quickly, he cast a spell on himself that temporary alleviated his pain, and he looked up to study his environment. He could hear noises at the far back and knew that there were people nearby. He began walking towards the source of the noise, taking in the houses in the surrounding. It was nearing dawn, and he knew that the people of this realm would lose their powers at sunrise. But he had always suspected otherwise, and he knew his father thought the same. Think
“The powers of the realm? What exactly do you mean by that?” Gwen asked. “My dear, it is said that the Abomination would have the powers of the Ogwu realm, the Zruch realm, the Enu realm, and even the Dras.” “But, the Dras realm has no powers.” Gwen pointed out, confused. “That’s what you think.” The doctor said, grinning. He began walking around the room, his steps thoughtful. “What I am trying to understand now, is that if you are the Abomination, why did our brother lock your memories?” “Yeah,” Hesper said, his attention still fully focused on Gwen. “I wonder why.” “Perhaps he didn’t want her to suffer from the dreams,” Sheryl said. “This seems like it was done long ago. How did he know where to find the Abomination?” “I thought you said that nothing is hidden from you all,” Sheryl questioned. “Yes, but the one thing we couldn’t find was the Abomination. That’s why she is somewhat of an enigma to us. For something that was created in the Zruch realm, aren’t we supposed to b
Tyron didn’t understand what was going on, but he wasn’t sure he liked it one bit. The first thing that icked him, was the way this strange man kept caressing Gwen, looking at her lovingly. She had overhead Sheryl call him Hesper. His bright smile annoyed him, and he felt like getting rid of it. “How do we trust you?” Sheryl said. To be very honest, I am extremely wary of the people of the Enu realm.” Tyron looked at her, a sad look crossing his face. “I apologize.” He said. “For what?” Sheryl asked, blinking confusedly. Tyron sighed. “The supreme lord has become so bored with long life. And so to keep himself busy, he began to plan for world domination. He started with your realm because you guys are the weakest.” “H-Hey! You can’t say that! Have you met the Dras people? They have no powers at all!” “But they are extremely suspicious people. They might be friendly, but they have got their eyes on everything. If a foreigner should begin something they don’t like it understand,
Several days passed. Gwen had slept soundly so far, with no dream haunting her. At times, she was tempted to sleep the whole day because she couldn’t remember the last two she slept so well. Sadly, she couldn’t sleep as much as she would like that day because she had an important reason; her powers. Since she was told that she was the Abomination, and after getting all the memories she had, Gwen was yet to see her powers. She supposed that it might be her fault, because even after getting the memories of her past life, she still treated it like they were visions of another, and in no way related to her. Perhaps some inner part of her didn’t want to accept that she had suffered that much. She had already had her bath and had dressed, but she sat on the bed of the doctor’s house, lost in her thoughts. “Hey, are you ready for today?” Sheryl said, coming to seat next to her. She had been given her own room for fear of Gwen hurting her by mistake when she slept, though nothing of that s
It was a painful process. Gwen didn’t know what’s was happening to her, neither could she explain the pain that flowed through her body. She had simply sat down and remained still as Marc had told her to, and listened as he began muttering some words. “Arrrgh!” She screamed, unable to remain silent anymore. The pain was too intense and it felt like it was eating her from the inside. “Just hold on dear, she heard Hesper say. “Everything would soon be over.” She gritted her teeth and took in the pain, trying not to concentrate on it and instead fall into the rising crescendo of Marc’s voice. Finally, just when she began thinking that the pain might never be over, the doctor stopped and she collapsed on her seat with relief. “Is she okay?” Sheryl asked with a soft voice. “She will be.” Marc said. “I’ll take her to her room.” Hesper said, walking over to her. Marc simply nodded. Gwen felt herself being lifted up. She barely had the strength to ask about what had happened, and all t
She was not the first person to say this, and to find it actually true, left him in a confused state. Tyron forced a smile, but still couldn’t come up with something to say. “Is something wrong?” Gwen asked, frowning slightly. Tyron shook his head. “It’s just weird, that’s all.” He said simply. “Can you please tell me more about this Stev? What was he like?” “The best man I had ever placed my eyes on.” Gwen replied, smiling dreamily. “He was my first love, and I might have ended up with him, had Prince Luther not interfered.” At that, she frowned. Tyron gulped. “What do you mean?” “Prince Luther was obsessive about me. He didn’t want me in a relationship with anyone, and even went as far as to threaten me with the lives of my parents should I consider it. But I was already in love with prince Stev. And we had communicated several times after I started my work as prince Luther’s personal maid.” It was a bit weird hearing his father being addressed as prince. Made one wonder just h
A few days passed since Gwen had her wings. Since that day, she had been having problems lying on her back, and when she moved her wings she still felt a strange sensation run down her body.“Don’t worry.” Tyron had said comfortingly. “As time goes on, you will get used to it. It’s all about moving the muscle of your wings, like one would move an arm.”She still felt uncomfortable carrying out that action, but it had became easier for her. That day, Marc had decided to teach her how to use her powers. They were all in his office, watching while he looked for a book he claimed could help her.“I can always help you know.” Tyron said. “I am from that realm after all.”They all turned to look at him. “How are you sure your method would work?” Sheryl asked. “I do understand that though your powers might be similar, they are also very different.” Pointing to Gwen, she continued. “Gwen here got her powers thanks to the goddess of the dark realm. The Goddess of the dark realm brought her so
