Natalia had gone to meet her mate, while I still stayed in the bar. She felt guilty leaving me when he called for her, but I pushed her to go. Apart from the fact that a lot of the drinks were sweet, I wanted to forget the scent I perceived the moment I entered the pack house. It was intoxicating, and I tried my best to act normal, and not stand there to inhale it. Even now, I could still perceive it, but it was stronger at the entrance. But I could not find the source of the scent.

I took another gulp, before I stopped. I didn't want to get drunk or tipsy on my first day here.

I stood up and went outside, trying to ignore the scent as I passed through the exit. It was getting fainter, but my nostrils would not fail to pick it up.
