Chapter 30: Sudden Change

Suddenly a howl was so loud that it broke Judah's lustful mind towards Gray, who seemed ready to give her body against her will.

Judah picked her up bridal-style without saying anything and ran back to their house. He laid her down on the bed and ran back outside before he howled as loud as the howl Gray heard.

"Damn it," she whispered. She was almost taken advantage of if only that howl had broken the silent night and Judah's goal. She was still trying to calm her raging heartbeat and the desire that her body started to build.

She stood up and grabbed a towel before entering the bathroom to calm herself down.

The following day, Gray and her servant Mayumi were both walking into the rose garden, inhaling the sweet scent of fresh roses early in the morning. Gray sensed Mayumi's uneasiness.

"Did you hear a howl last night?" she asked before bringing orange roses to her nose.

"Yes, my lady," she replied. "It was a call from the king," she replied, terrified.

"From the king? I have
