The Council Leaders

Lucius's POV

I stood in the castle conference room. A large war room was different from the one we used for the emergency meeting the last time I got called from my honeymoon.

This was the main room in the pack's castle. A place where a lot of wars and chaos had been planned and strategize to victory. But today, I was going to save Diane's father and hopefully calm the rest of the council long enough to return home to find my Diane.

But first, I had to remind these people who were the leaders in the room. How could they call an urgent meeting; pull such a stunt on me and then pretend to be too tired to attend the meeting? Not on my watch.

My eyes were narrowed to the entrance and I watched as one by one the council members stepped in and took their seats.

None of them were able to look into my eyes. They could all feel the heat of my anger from miles away and none wanted to be the first to witness it.

I waited till they had all come in and settled down before I began to address them.
