The Search Continues

Lucius's POV

Almost a day had passed and I still had no idea where Diane was. I tried threatening Jolynn but that psychopath was a dead end.

"I think we should trail her," Fred said in a calming voice. "Let's go after her and find out where Diane is!"

I stopped pacing and looked at him with narrowed eyes. My eyes had a million questions, but before I could speak he explained what he meant.

"You are certain that this Jolynn girl has my granddaughter, And your beta is certain that they have her here?" He asked.

I pulled the vanity chair that was nearby and sat down on it. "Yes, but what if they have moved her deeper into town? What if that was just bait to lead us off their trail? What if she isn't even with Diane?"

The possibilities were endless and it was slowly driving me insane.

"None of what we have is a step closer to finding her because it seems the more we found out, the farther she slips from my fingers."
