A Bargain

Diane's POV

"You did this!" I spat out glaring at her.

I was right in guessing that she would have done this.

She folded her arms across her chest and smiled.

Her smile only increased my anger. How dare she?

I was up on my feet in seconds and I moved menacingly to the door. "What do you stand to gain by doing this? huh?"

She closed her eyes and flapped them open once again. Then she stretched her nails forward and blew at them.

"You know, for a human girl, you are very smart and I am almost jealous!" She chuckled.

My eyes narrowed at her statement as I was certain it made no sense. Why would she refer to me as a human girl when she was one herself?

I shook my head, ignoring her silly babble. I raised my finger at her and closed the distance between us.
