A Feather Close

Lucius's POV

"I do not have time to play around Owen! Get back here right now!" I yelled but he stumped away and left me there.

I closed my eyes in frustration and tried to calm myself.

"Children can be very strange beings to deal with..." I heard a strange voice behind me.

I turned toward it and saw that it was a guard with a large ugly scar across his face. His face didn't look familiar and I couldn't remember him at all.

"My King," he said, making a similar dramatic bow just like Kasper. "I am Stone, at your service," he added.

My wolf hated the aura coming off of him at once but I calmed it.

"What pack do you belong to?" I asked him.

"The Alpha Kasper, my King," he said, and mentally rolled my eyes.

Of course, he would be from his pack. I should have known.

"Then I believe you should go to the conference room, your alpha must need your services more," I said to him and started walking down the rows of containers to find my son.
