The Wedding

Diane's POV

"What?" I whispered, clenching her hands tighter.

She shook her head from side to side. "Do not worry about that, my dear. As I said, Fred and I have accessed Lucius. You have nothing to worry about."

My eyes narrowed as the words replayed in my head. "They never— why did they say this?"

My heart was beating hard and my anger was slowly building but I kept it under control so as not to stress my grandmother even further.

"They just... they are just worried for you..."

I scoffed, throwing my eyes to the ceiling

"They care about me now?"

"Darling, they are your parents. It's normal—"

"They are not my parents! They are not!" I snapped, moving away from her.

I hugged myself and shook my head. How dare they even think they can decide for me? What gave them that right?

"Diane..." Her soft voice called. Its sound mixed with the evening breeze cooling my temper.

dear author, you chose to write with Lucius' and Diane's POV but then sometimes confuse yourself and describe details from a third POV as a narrator with the same paragraphs which is confusing. Such elementary mistakes ruin the book's potential. Otherwise, it's a great story! :)
