Without thinking about their reaction, I blurted out those words like they had been written somewhere, waiting for me to read them but the look on their faces was more of surprise than shock but I knew what I wanted.

“This is not the ti…” Charles began but seeing that it wasn't in his place to decide that, he stopped mid way and gave Richard a long look before turning around and leaving the room.

“Mark me, Richard.” I repeated but this time with a lot more confidence. I knew what I saw in that dream and I felt it too, it was so real, as real as the others before it and Charles' presence confirmed it.

“Etta, this is not the time.” Richard protested but it was now or never. Not for me but for the both of us. They were going to seperate us and that's for sure. I saw it clearly, I saw it happen.

Yanking my hand out of his, I walked back to the bed to sit on it while bringing my knee up to my chest.

“Don't be sad, My love,” He said softly before taking his seat on the bed
