It was already dead into the night and the silence that came with nightfall filled my ears, but was toned with the chirping sound of crickets in the bushes.

I couldn't sleep as not only was I contemplating Charles' outburst today, but Henrietta's request as well.

“Then you might have to think again,” those words played repeatedly in my head, clouding my thoughts so much that I couldn't go to sleep. I kept tossing and turning until I couldn't take it anymore and decided to sit up on the bed while resting my back on the wall.

I stared at her sleeping figure and subconsciously, I pictured myself marking right then.

What would happen if she is taken away from me?

What would happen if we were separated?

Could she be right about there never being a perfect time for us?

What if she is not but then, what if she actually is?

These questions kept me confused and awake as I wondered whether or not I should give in. if only she knew that I want it a lot more than she does but t
