Edward sat up on his bed after the sleep he had been praying for for hours refused to come. He looked at Emily who laid on the floor and sighed. Edward and Emily slept in after the awkward encounter that they both had. The next day, none of them spoke to the other, only giving each other slight nods, Edward with his mask on throughout and Emily with a frown imprinted on her face, as they walked past each other to acknowledge their presence. Emily walked down the stairs and walked straight to the dining table. Her headache had stopped by her feet was beginning to hurt like hell. She removed the shoes that she had on and rubbed them against the cold floor, heaving a loud sigh of relief as the pain began to go down.
