As Wyatt left the hospital, dusk was approaching. He hoped to resolve everything before the day ended.

Steven reminded him that the arrangements in the city had been made. Wyatt had anticipated his father's tricks, but he still found it laughable when he heard that King had prepared some new weapons.

He chose to travel in his wolf form instead of a car. His wolf was furious today, not just because the full moon was near. Harper's encounters and her mother's legacy reminded him once again of what he needed to protect.

He left Slivergray and arrived in King City in a short period of time. Wyatt was one of the fastest shifters in the world, and he was confident about that.

As he transformed back into his human form and entered his father's castle once again, his breathing grew heavier. He had a premonition that his father might be manipulating him using his mother's death.
