Chapter 43: Be Ready
~Alana~
The day had finally arrived for Alana and Kai to visit Valencia.
Naturally, she was nervous. She did not want to get her hopes up, but then again, she could not help but want to find out the truth about her life. Who was she? Why was her wolf sealed?
After fetching Kai from school, Alana and Alric went straight to Valencia’s home. Dean and Max accompanied them and they stood by the chamber doors to guard anyone against entering.
Valencia perfectly instructed that no one, absolutely no one, should interrupt them. Unlike the last, they went further down to another chamber from within Valencia’s home. It was a room full of old books, elixirs, and herbs.
Deep into the same chamber, there was a wide spot where an enormous circle was permanently painted on the floor, a six petal flower formed at the center.
“Are you ready?” Peering at her, Valencia inquired.
