David’s POV

Rachel refused to change her dress, so we left for school. I'll just have to walk with her if that’s what it takes.

We finally got to school.

“Rachel!” I called her back to wait for me, and we both walked in.

A guy complimented her like he didn’t notice she was walking with a guy. This is the exact reason why I want her to change what she wears, but she won’t listen. I held her hand so it would be more noticeable that she was walking with a guy.

“What’s that for?” She asked.

“Why will a guy compliment you when you are walking with me?" I said to clear out.

“I smell jealousy.” That was the word that rang into my ears. So I let go of her hand immediately and walked in front of her.

I don’t want to show her I care for her, but I can’t help myself. And the fact that she called me jealous got me annoyed.
