Rachel’s POV

Immediately, he pulled away and took my hand off his shoulders.

“We shouldn't be doing this. Let’s not do this; I will go home now.” He walked out while I just stood there, still in shock. Before I noticed, David walked in.

Right after we kissed

“I am sorry for leaving you behind; let’s go home now.” He uttered it and held my hand.

And you think I am so dumb that I’ll accept that apology?

I pulled away immediately. My heart was struck by how Scott reacted; he wasn’t expecting the kiss either. I thought maybe we felt the same way, or is he still scared of what the Alpha may say?

“I'll meet you outside.” I walked to where I sat, picked up my bag, and walked out.
