Rachel’s POV

"Will you shut up and sit down? How dare you raise your voice at us!" The Alpha yelled, looking so angry already.

I realized I was at the top of my voice.

I apologized and sat down. David glared at me while Scott looked at me in a shocked way; he wasn’t expecting me to act that way.

But I was fed up with all this—being a Luna, which I didn’t even want to be, or mated to someone I hated so much.

Why is life unfair to me? The only precious thing I had was the Williams family, and that has also been taken away from me.

"You are the future, Luna, whetherYou like it or not, and you should come to your senses now!" Luna spat; she looked angry.

I apologized again. And bowed, raising my head up; tears surrounded my eyes. But this isn’t what I want; this isn’t the kind of life I bargained for.

"You all may be dismissed now." The Alpha said that, and Luna left with him.

I stood up quickly without looking at Scott's or David’s faces; I just rushed to my room.
