Bitten By A Vampire

**Melissa's POV***

I slit as many Vampires I encountered trying to get into the cave where the women and children were. I haven't mastered my powers yet, but the little I learned from witch Alana I made use of.

“Miss Melissa, besides you!” Prisca screamed. Immediately I looked at my side and this vampire grabbed me by the hand and the knife which I was holding fell off my hands.

My heart sank, this was the only way I knew how to get rid of them. What am I going to do now? The women and children screamed when they noticed my plight.

The vampires knew just when to attack. It was a full moon, and they must have calculated the fact that we are always weak at this time. Both the witches and Alphas are not exempted. But for some reason, I noticed it was not the same with me. I don't feel weak at all, and I don't understand why.

I wanted to assure them that it was okay, but I know it wasn't.

“What are you going to do now, the weapon you are so confident with is no longer in your hands.”
