Chapter Nineteen

“We need to talk.” Arya said to Brad with a serious look plastered on her face.

Brad sighed, his eyes darting around as he flashed a girl a smile before looking back at Arya with disgust evident on his face. His lips were pressed together as he curled it up.

“Brad..” Arya called out again, trying not to show her voice breaking.

He took her hand in his, pulling her away amidst the crowd as they both marched outside the cafeteria.

Immediately they got outside, he flung her hand away from his and Arya’s heart clenched out in pain.

“What’s wrong? Why do you have something to say all the time? I’m just coming in and yet you already have something to say? Can’t you be quiet for a while?” He bellowed at her.

“I know about the druggies. I know you work for them. I know you’re still with them.” Arya cut him off as he turned to see glassy eyes staring at him.

Brad clenched his jaw, his hand going to massage his forehead as he stared at her. He opened his mouth to talk but found himself closing
