Chapter Twenty

“Thank you.” Arya said as she got down from the car.

“Just be good and take care of yourself.” Alston smiled at her before she opened the door and got down.

She sniffed in as the cold breeze hit her. She didn’t want to go back inside the school, nor see any of the school students. All she wanted was to be on her own, possibly in her room.

“Can I ask you for a favor?” She said back to Alston.

“Sure.”

“Can you drop me at my house? School will soon be over and I can’t go back in.” Her eyes stared wide at him, hoping she would say the answer she needed to hear.

Alston found his wolf dancing at the thought of this. It would be too dangerous if her mum saw him, both for him and both for her. But who was he to decline her request? Even her cute face staring at him was enough to give in to her request.

“Sure. You can come in.” He said as he revved the car engine.
