MATILDA'S POV

After the incident that happened between me and Sara that day, my day continued to go smoothly without being reminded of how strenuous my relationship with Alpha Moses was.

Kelvin and I tried as much as we could to avoid each other during the day in order not to raise any suspicion from anybody. So after I left the library, I decided to go to the pack's hospital and spend time with Luxian.

He was attending to a sick she-wolf when I got there.

I stood behind him for a while and pretended not to be there. He was shocked when he turned back to see me standing there after he was done with the treatment.

"Oh!" He exclaimed nervously when our eyes met.

"How are you doing, Doctor Luxian?" I asked with an equally nervous smile.

I realized only then that we had not been seeing much of each other for a while now.

"You seem busy," I said, looking around the room even though there was only one person there he was attending to.

"Not at all," He said with a nervous laugh. "I'm done
