MATILDA'S POV

The sound of Eva's screams started to fade slowly, my eyes opened slowly, and to find myself in a different environment, I darted my eyelashes again, making sure I was seeing the right thing. Still, the environment started to get clearer in my vision, entirely different from where I was. I was supposed to be at Alpha Derek's pack, fighting a war.

The environment was serene and beautiful; it was like nothing I had ever seen. Not only did it differ starkly from the battlefield, it was exquisite and divinely beautiful. The beauty and eloquence of the place are beyond description; I could not bring myself to take it all in, let alone be able to bring it into proper description.

I stood confused and looked around the new place, which was adorned with exceptional beauty, and everyone around me wore beautiful smiles on their faces.
