MATILDA'S POV

I felt the eyes of all the pack members who had gathered at the training ground watching me as I walked back to my chamber.

Isn't this funny? Just a few months ago, I had stayed here, and I was always at the center of most of the fights going on in the pack. I was always creating scenes.

Becoming a nuisance, I guess.

I shifted back to my human form the moment I got in front of my chamber and walked in. I felt Eva hug me from behind, laughing really hard.

"You know what, Matilda? I was blessed the day I met you, and I really love how you dealt with those wolves; at least next time they would know who to challenge." She laughed.

I laughed out loud too. "But come to think of it, Eva, all of these would not have been possible without you."

"Oh! Please." Eva waved her hand, laughing.

"You know, Eva, Sapphira seemed to have developed a soft spot for Bax; I did not expect her to leave when she saw him. It's really a great surprise." I said I felt impressed, and we both laughed
