MATILDA'S POV

I was a bit nervous as she took my hand and led me through the corridors. I had never attended a real ball event before, and I had no idea how it would look, how it would feel, or what to expect.

I tried to calm my nervousness a bit by telling myself that it won't be that bad.

The moment we approached the hall, my heartbeat increased and I swallowed constantly.

The door to the room where the ball was being held was heavily guarded by strong warriors with weapons, the type that I had never gotten to see before. I stared in awe at all of them.

“They needed to take extra precautions with security because of the highly important dignitaries that were invited to the ball.” The woman said to me,

“Oh!” I exclaimed.

“Although there is really no need for it because no one would dare launch an attack on the Alpha Moses ball event, let alone come to a place where there are so many powerful werewolves.”
