Compliments

One of the maids, whose name I just found out was Ashley, took out a dress that was given to me by my mother on my eighteenth birthday. I instantly jolted from the bed and went to her to snatch it from her.

"What are you doing? This is pretty special." My hands ran over the beautiful designs of the dress, the beads and lacy attachments. The dress was just royalty to me.

"We thought that'd be a great dress to wear. We are truly sorry." She slowly bowed and her partner, Nali, followed suit. I nodded my head and they continued.

A few minutes later, they took out a yellow dress and I instantly agreed to wear it. It was neither too much nor too shabby. It was just...perfect.
