14:The warning

My eyes slowly opened and I pushed myself up. My body protested with my movements and I felt dizzy and weak. I didn't know why I felt so weak. I hadn't been attacked. I wasn't hurt, yet I felt like my entire body was on fire.

I wanted to remain on the bed but after hearing everything Uncle Lucian told Alpha Gabriel about me, I couldn't. My mind was in disarray, my thoughts were scattered. I felt like my entire existence was a lie. I had lived with Uncle Lucian for years, right from a baby to an adult, and yet he still kept the truth about my identity hidden.

One question resounded in my head.

Why?

Why would he do a thing like that? I had every right to know about my parents, and about what kind of strange powers I possessed. The fact that he thought he was protecting me by not telling me was what angered me.

I stared at the two of them as they spoke by the window, and then Alpha Gabriel turned his head and stared at me.

"You're awake," he rushed to the bed and gently lowered
