Alexa's POV...

I heard a knock on my door when I was about to spread the bed. I knew it was Selena, I had told her not to knock whenever she wanted to come in, but she was adamant about knocking before entry.

"Come in, Selena. "

She giggled after she stepped in, "How do you know I was the one?" She asked me sheepishly, making me roll my eyes at her childish behaviour.

"Why would I not know? Who else comes to visit me if not you" I asked her with a snort.

I don't have any other friends; the other maids and servants are actually gossipers, so I'd rather stay on my own than involve myself with those people who may one day add my story to their gossip list if they haven't already.
