"What are you hiding from me, Selena?"

Shock overshadowed her as she never expected to see him here. Not knowing what to do or how to answer, she began to weep. Simon, looking confused, throws away the knife and pulls her closer in an embrace. He let her cry on him for a minute before questioning her.

"What the fuck, Selena. Why would you try to do that to yourself?" He asked.

She was silent. She didn't want to tell him about the past few days, the beatings, torture, and the countless number of rape. What if he didn't believe her, or worse, went to question the men about it?
