Alexa's POV...
It was morning already. Yesterday night was wild, Logan slept in my room, and we both fell asleep naked after so many rounds. I was unwilling to wake up early because of how my body hurt. Even when Logan got up, I remained in bed, partially conscious.Logan kissed my forehead and caressed my hair, "good morning, my love. I have to go and attend to some things now, but I will keep to the promises I made to you. There'll be a surprise waiting for you when you get up."
He must have thought I was fully awake because of how I tossed and turned, but I wasn't. I could hear him, but I was too tired to respond, so all I let out was, "hmmm..." before I turned in another direction.
He smiled, giving me another kiss before leaving the room.
Last night seemed so strange to me. I still wondered his reason for coming to apologize to me all of a sudden. I still wondered why he wished to make amends.
