Chapter 180

Author's POV...

It had been two days since Kara was arrested, and she needed to get herself out since her maid couldn't. She had sleepless nights, nearly running mad as she tried to figure out how to get out of prison and away from the pack, all to no avail.

Since she couldn't do anything, she hoped the news of her kidnapping would reach the elders' ears. They were the only people she could rely on to get her out. But after two days, her hopes dropped. She needed to do this alone. She toiled around the prison room, pondering on what to do.

A guard came to serve her her meal. She observed him and realized he was the same guard who had helped her once. She remembered how he had helped her call Diana the last time she was locked up. Thank her stars that this guard was sent to serve her food today.

Her mood lightened as she got an idea of how to use the guard she knew to escape prison.

It won't be difficult, Kara thought.

She ate her launch carefully and watched how Diana did the same. S
