Author's POV...
Kara could feel the wind on her face; the cold morning air felt good against her skin. For the past nights, she had been going through records, strategizing and coming up with the easiest and fastest ways to infiltrate Logan's pack.
Vader and Carl were right beside her, also coming up with brilliant plans to execute the mission. Kara had to admit that Logan's pack was very powerful, the soldiers were well trained, and every pack member had a standard defence skill; she warned Alpha Carl that attacking the red Lotus pack would not be as easy as they estimated.

Logan's POV...There was the calm after the storm.While some of my men tried to clean up the dead bodies that littered the field at the edge of the forest, some of them went about checking all the possible access to the house to ensure that no enemy had snuck up on us.It was during this time that I was notified of the intrusion from the left wing of the pack house. Simon called me and reported that the men had noticed footprints leading away into the river. There must have been a boat there that conveyed them away because when we tried to trace the prints, they seemed to disappear just at the edge of the river.The first thing I did was to go in to make sure that Alexa was okay, as well as Alvin.
