Chapter 142

Alpha Alexis’ POV

When Aurora rolled over to me to snuggle in her sleep, I created room for her while my hand found its way to her back and pressed a kiss against her skin where the tiniest of freckles would be. My hand then slid down to her waist, gently squeezing it as she sighed contently at my touch. I smiled, looking fondly at the sleeping girl before reaching for the covers that covered us.

Once they were draped around the pair of us, my hand continued to move down lower until it was now resting on Aurora’s thigh. My thumb rubbed soothing circles against her thigh, hoping to help ease the restlessness inside of her so that we could both rest easier. After a moment though, she shifted slightly, moving closer toward my chest even in sleep. I chuckled and wrapped an arm around her tightly, letting her body weight press against mine and allowing myself to relax in her presence.
